Lee's Summit elementary and secondary educational needs are served by the Lee's Summit R-7 and Blue Springs R-4 School Districts. Both are award winning and have test scores well about the national, state and metro Kansas city averages. College level work begins locally at Longview Community College, Time Magazine's college of the Year with over 6,000 students enrolled; 15 four year and graduate degree granting schools with over 50,000 students are within an easy commute.
