With a combined 2,600 acres in four area lakes, an extensive park system, public golf courses and an assortment of recreational facilities, Lee's Summit has something for every interest. The Parks and Recreation Department's 700 acre Legacy Park is home to numerous adult and youth league tournaments. A 45,000 sq. ft. community center, 30 athletic fields, a 27 acre park, playground, amphitheatre, nature trails and picnic areas are available.

Downtown Lee's Summit
 

Lee's Summit downtown is vibrant with over 100 specialty and retail shops. With ample parking and a pedestrian friendly Main Street, downtown is home to many events throughout the year: Old Tyme Days, Oktoberfest, the Arts Fair, Music Festivals, Holiday Lights, Halloween Parade, and Farmers' Market.
