Economic Injury Disaster Loan
An EIDL is a long-term, direct loan from the Small Business Administration. Unlike the Payment Protection Program, EIDL does not go through a third party lender. EIDL is a low-interest loan, which is not eligible for forgiveness. In March of 2021, the federal government increased the maximum loan to $500,000.

In case of layoffs or a shutdown, businesses can find information on the following:

- Filing a Mass Claim (on behalf of your employees)

As of May 14, 2021, Jackson County lifted all remaining health orders. Businesses and other spaces continue to have the right to require face masks at their establishments. In accordance with the Center for Disease Control & Prevention, face masks are still recommended for unvaccinated individuals.
